The volunteers at my polling place said the turnout today has been higher than they've ever seen.

Default No, but he thinks he is....

Its a Liasis Fuscus (water pyton), but as youngsters they are snippy little brats who go a long way to pretending they are a vicious venemous animal. He's a sweetheart on the inside.

You a herper too?

In Mentor, OH, my husband and I were at the polls at 6:30 when they opened, and it took us 30 minutes to get through the line, with a line out the door when we left. From what people around us were saying it seemed to be a larger than normal turnout, especially first thing in the AM.

Now we are new to this precinct, but it is the longest either of us has had to wait to vote.

I voted about 9:30 this morning and it was not bad at all(less than 5 minutes) there were already 243 people that had voted which is pretty good for my district that early. After all I live in Mississippi and vote "in the sticks."

We also have a State Amendment Issue on the ballot concerning gay marriage as well, to not allow it, and not recognize it from another state.

I'm a psuedo-herper. I like watching the snake shows on Animal Planet (don't care for Austin Stevens though) and surfing snake related sites on the Internet. I don't own or handle snakes in real life.

Default Austin Stevens is just incredibly effing horrible.

I voted at 4PM near the Greyhound Station in downtown Seattle. I was voter #290. About a 5 minute wait, but this polling place is small because its an inner city neighborhood. I have never had to wait in line at all before.
