dont worry about the big stack re-raising, he just cold called with 3 people already in. There is absolutely zero chance he has you dominated... if he pushes, you call and take your chances against whatever middle pair hes holding.

In my mind the only person with a possible monster here is UTG, and hes so short stacked i almost ignore him. Rather than making it $120 and being pot committed on any flop against UTG+2, i make it $250, or possibly push.

Given the opponents' stack sizes and action, I just push this preflop. If I take it down, I certainly don't show. Not only do I get to take a hefty pot down preflop, this being my first hand at the table it will hopefully anger the crowd and get me more action in the very near future. Hell this is a pretty good spot for pushing imo, given that anyone with any chance of calling doesn't have much in their stack, and any decent reraise puts them in or commits them anyway. I don't see any of the bigger stacks ever calling your push here hardly ever. Your raise to 70 is just bloating the pot out of position, and I hate it. I shove all my chips in PF.

nh. Also yesterday I play at 600NL against a maniac for a while who blow his 3k stack in 15 minutes.

Is there more gamblers at higher limit?
