Default 6. max, too aggr. flop TPLK

This is my standard bet, even with middle pair, just to see where i stand - and because it so often makes people fold.

Is it too aggressive with top pair - i guess i want them to fold ? And i have a problem betting less than 1$.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ Hero (6 max, 6 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

SB ($10.99)
Hero ($29.45)
UTG ($27.86)
MP ($20.20)
CO ($35.48)
Button ($20.65)

Preflop: Hero is BB with K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $0.10.
<font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, MP calls $0.25, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, SB (poster) completes, Hero checks.

Flop: ($0.75) J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
SB checks, <font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $1</font>, MP folds, SB folds.

Final Pot: $1.75

its fine. Your hand is vulnerable and you probably don't want much action.

looks ok to me...I generally bet the pot because I don't want to risk more than i can win, but that's really just semantics.

It looks fine. I would probably bet somewhere in the neighborhood of .50 or .75. There isn'tm much reason to risk more than that, but at your stakes your bet size is fine as well.
