Default Property Rights

here's a paper i wrote on property rights that's deals with a lot of the issues that i've gotten into with some anachro capitalist (pvn specifically). It deals with people opting out of the system. This was written for a class and doesn't reflect my views perfectly, but it gets some issues out. I'm still in school now and i'm planning on writing up a counter arguement to what i gather is the predominant thinking on economic on this forum, but i'm just going to post this for now if anybody cares to read it.

The essential point is that a property system that allocates property rights without regard to how the underlying populations feel they "should" be allocated is doomed to be ineffective in creating a formal property system where legal rights will be enforcable and therefore meaningful.

It's kinda long and i'm sure most people won't be interested but as i wrote it and it's pertinent to arguements i get in all the time here.....
