What buy-in is this? Meaning, if it is a low buy in sng, most your opponents won't even really pay attention to what position your raise came from. They just simply play their cards the best they know how.

Also, in lvl 2, do you think you have built up enough of an image that they know your would only normally raise premium hands from EP? If not, switching up your game by raising various hands from EP will probably have little affect.

As for this hand, I think your opponent played every street like he had an overpair. You sucked out.

You played this like a total fish. It's terrible. Absolutely no question about it. If you want to keep playing like a fool, that's fine, but don't come on here like you were the greatest player ever or something.

I only asked a question. wasn't trying to brag. Just needed a reality check.

As it happens looking back over the hand, i can't disagree with any of the replies. I did indeed play it like a fish.

For what it's worth, I see this all the time. Harrington meantions bluffing with suited connectors from EP in HoH1, and he mentions he does it something like 15% of the time.

People read his book, then try this play maybe 50% of the time and feel terribly sophisticated when they do it.

Remember, this type of move is marginally useful and only when you can depend on the fact that your opponents are observant.

how is this useful, to steal 45 chips the few times they fold? or to play OOP to people that called raises?
