Did i make a mistake with this call?

No read on villian, he sat down about 2 orbits ago. Not tight, but not a lag either. Just your average nl50 party player i guess. Anyone fold this, it just smelled way too fishy for me to fold. To me it looks like an overpair that decided it was safe enough to get it in. Anyone agree?

I have no clue what the action actually is... but when it says "Hero checks" I cringe.

Then call if your intentions were to induce a bet. If you didn't raise preflop then losing all of your money is unavoidable given the draw heavy flop. Unless of course, you have reads on the opponent. [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

What is the preflop action?
Given the board texture, I say you see a draw here 70-90% of the time. The rest is overpairs and sometimes a donk getting excited that he hit a set.

I didnt realize that the pf action was missing. He raised to 4 from ep, i reraised to 10 hoping to be facing kk or qq.
I did call the all in, he turned over 99 for the heart breaking set. Should i have laid it down on the flop?
