Interesting PF call.

Edit: also, explain reasoning in capping flop?

preflop: lots of limpers and a good multiway hand and I play better than the limpers so I call.

flop: me 2+2, me have pair + flushdraw, me like hand, me raise, rraaaarrrr.

Oh and capping for a free card is sexy as [censored].

Why is this an interesting call? 3 limpers with position, and blinds likely to come along? I'm a bit tight preflop, and I'd limp this 10 times out of 10.

I like it all, though I'm not sure about the river raise. I have 2 questions about this play:

1) Is he going to call enough to make it profitable?
2) Is he a type of player you could safely lay the hand down to a 3-bet against, or who could easily be 3-betting a K?

It's certainly possible those conditions apply, though I would want to know for sure before I made this play.

Yes, this guy calls a raise with a king AND folding to a 3-bet is very easy and was my plan.

This was art, a thing of beauty!

Preflop is standard.

Flop is a dream, a value freecard raise/cap, a rare and cherished event.

River is the best part....but will/can he fold to a 3bet?

Hero is almost an exact coin flip any top pair hand (including AA, unless Villian has A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]) including AK. He's only a 60-40 dog to KT. The only hands he is a significant dog to is KK or TT and these look unlikely given how Villian has played his hand. Furthermore, raising / capping disguises Hero's hand very well in case the third spade rolls off on the turn or river.

AND raising is fun. Seriously, this play has loads of metagame benefits, as well - he probably saw lots of action following this for what was probably perceived by the table as an overaggressive play (which it was not).

EDIT: wording revised slightly
