Re: Most efficient way to withdraw from PP to the UK?
[ QUOTE ]
I like First Direct (for Maestro card). [/ QUOTE ] I second this, open an account with them just to get your money out of Party, pretty fast transaction times and the conversion rate seems decent. |

Re: Most efficient way to withdraw from PP to the UK?
If I have a Coral account, would I save a lot on the exc rate by withdrawing straight to my Switch card?
What I currently do is w/draw to my Neteller ac (which is in £), then get a cheque. |

Re: Most efficient way to withdraw from PP to the UK?
Whenever I withdraw from Party (or Coral) I usually get a rate equal to slightly greater than the one on www.xrates.com with no fees. I can't rememeber how much it cost me to withdraw from Neteller but it wasn't insignficant, you're paying an exchange fee every time.

[/ QUOTE ] On coral the option to withdraw to switch is just 'withdraw to existing credit card' right? I registered my visa card when i put my first deposit in there and last time i withdrawn i got a pretty shitty rate, 0.51 when ex.com had 0.53 up, but i can't imagine there being a visa fee or getting a different exchange rate with a visa? Anyhow, i'll have to go the coral -> neteller -> empire route, i can see this pissing empire off since i haven't withdrawn in a while. |

Re: Most efficient way to withdraw from PP to the UK?
Well I'm not too happy as I just got a cheque from Neteller but the exchange rate seemed to be real bad. They gave me 1 GBP for ~$1.78, yet the current rates are ~$1.68 I believe.
To make matters worse, I'm off to the US in November and need some dollars for poker playing. But if I have to cash out dollars to GBPs, and then buy dollars I'm going to get hammered. Anyone got any ideas? Most of my bankroll is on PokerStars at the moment. |
