Re: NYC: goodbye Finnerty\'s Bar
That's a shame. Many years ago that place was called The Dugout. It was a dump back then too but it had character. A real, old-time NYC saloon.

Re: NYC: goodbye Finnerty\'s Bar
I am so freakin drunk right now.
The place was unbelievably packed. There was actually a line to get in. The regular bouncer (kieth) wasn't at the door and people from our group had to wait on the line, even though WE kept the [censored] place in business for the last 5 years, and then one of my friends got thrown out for smoking a cigarette, even though by the dartboards in the back, dozens of people were smoking. What a shithole. It has memories for me bc/ it was the first bar I ever went to 5 years ago when I was 17 years old. Good bye finnerty's. |
