For $50, shouldn't he be playing the Boss sites? Of course, the conditions might have changed from when I cleared them way back when, but IIRC, you could clear the Boss bonii at microlimits. No better bonus for someone with only $50. Do all 3 for $100 each, then go to Stars.

Which sites are the boss poker sites (i know imperial). And assuming the terms haven't changed, a contributed rake hand at any limit counts?

There are a ton of posts about the Boss sites. Just do a quick search and you'll find all you need to know. I don't want to mislead you on any of the latest info, but these are definitely the best microlimit bonii out there. If you can't win at these tables, don't even think of moving up elsewhere. Softest games EVER.

I like the advice. I am worrying too much about $10 (£6?!!)

Thanks for all the info guys- going to sign up this weekend and get started.

I already have PT.

I have had a few private messages offering me upto $50 sign up bonus. Are these kind of "affiliate deals" OK in principle? Should I be taking someone up on an offer? Or are there any big catches to look out for?

Sorry for the noob questions- it just sounds too good to be tru- ie sign up with Stars on my own and get ziltch, or sign up through someone and get $50 free????

Regards,
Ian

Ignore every PM you get, If they are a decent place they would be decent enough to pay for advertisting.

Basically all this "Instant bankroll" schemes are ok to start with, but you lose things like $100 party bonus...

If you grind like i did and others from 0.05/.10 building a BR and whoring when you can then you will be able to go to party and et the full $100.

Just grindf mate, Dont do any instant fast bankroll schemes.

If you have any q's and dont wanna spam boards feel free to pm me, I've helped a few guys go from $0 to $600, bonuses have changed though.

Thanks POKhER- I really appreciate the info.

I thought it was enough to learn how to play the actual game, let alone the minefield of RB/Bonuses/PT/HUD/etc/etc- I might actually get to playing soon!!!!

Regards,
Ian

Lol, Keeping up with bonuses is tough, make BonusWhores you're homepage and check the bonus forum section often.

Right now you wont have enough capital to get them, But thats what should be the extra driving force for you.

I worked from 0.02/.04, you're starting above me Good luck.

When you get to .25/.50 bonus whoring becomes a bit more of a reality, I mean you could chuck in $600 with debit card then back out to get the stars reloads(Stackable) and think of it as a future invest ment but thats your decision.

I keep my OWN cash out of poker, Playing with winnings.

I think I'm probably worrying too much about betting "into everything" for the outset?

Does this sound like a solid plan to you:

-Delete ALL private messages with offers of bonuses / RB
-Transfer £20 into Neteller
-Sign up with Stars: Deposit £20 with them
-Configure PT to work with Stars HH's.
-Start playing (and enjoying)the 0.02/0.04 limit games
-Think about bonuses and possibly RB when I am a few rungs up the ladder.

How does that sound?

Many thanks
Regards,
Ian

Or you can do casino.net put in $20 Play 500 raked hands,
these are contributed by the way. Break even get the $100
bonus then do sportingbet and then sporting odds(note
sporting odds doesn't take Neteller and they will not let
you cash out until 28 days after your deposit).

They took out all of the micro limit tables so you have to
play micro No limit. The software is bad and the players are
worse,so if your game is on you should make even more than
your deposit and bonus.

Do a search on this forum look for Boss, boss media or just
search the three names that I gave you. It has been some
time since I whored these sites and they may have changed.
But I remember anything being said about it on this forum.
