Hey William!!! Yes, those were some good times road trippin' to get sucked out on by the loosey-goosies in LC.

Some of my fondest poker memories are from playing down there. Including the first trip where I was berated by an old lady for folding pocket tres pre-flop (3 bets to in MP) and would have ended up winning the pot. She couldn't believe that I folded a "Jackpot Hand". Gotta love LC...

There are a lot of underground games in Austin that I know of. PM me if you want some more info.

kamelion and I play in a bunch of 2/5NL games. There are also 1/2 NL games. 5/10 limit. Some games are PLO. Basically, once you find one of these games, you'll get invited to a bunch more. The biggest, non-public game used to be 5/10 PLHE and 2/5 PLO, but that died down. Some of the 2/5NL games are thinking about running 5/10 NL/PL every once in a while.
The dealers at the games are great, people are nice, and its fun and profitable to play here.
Anyways, I very much enjoy living in Austin. I'm sure you will too.

That's o.k. I will be in Austin next week. I'll stop for Kolaches on the way to Houston. I will also plan to eat at Enchiladas Y Mas, Saltlick, Angie's, Threadgills, Fagnolia, Hyde Park Grill, Conan's and Kerbey Lane in the three days I'm there. I'll also be drinking at Baby A's (the straight one), Maggie's and Lovejoy's (assuming they're all still there) and anywhere else I'm dragged to. Alas, my favorite Austin bar (Charlie's Attic) shut down some years ago.

That's right, they have a Chuy's in Houston. Don't miss out on the latest shirt, "Tex-Mex Hold 'Em". I'll be wearing mine in Vegas the end of the week.

We are still mourning the demise of Dot's Place.

Ah, I just had some Kerbey Lane migas last night. yum. Whenever friends come back in town it's always a challenge getting to all the places they want to go to eat.

If any of you Austin guys have any good, smaller limit games (2/4 to 4/8) shoot me a PM. My guys usually don't want to play for more than quarters.

Yeah, I work about 2 block away from there. That place always has a line out the door during lunch.
