Wow. He's 17. That's only two years younger than me. And I am certainly not a "little kid." If he's a little kid, you must be around 80 or so, right? Well old geezers shouldn't be playing poker either, they call down too much with bad hands and poop their pants all the time. So get bent, geezer.

thanks man.

If they refused to refund me:
1. Could I wait another few months, then refund.
2. Could I "blackmail" them with bad publicity?

Blackmail won't work in this case and I don't think you'll get a lot of support here. If you can provide the documents they're asking for when you turn 18, that might work. But I have to think they're likely to lock your account sooner than that if you can't provide the information they've asked for in a reasonably timely manner.

You should research this in a reputable source. See National Lampoon's Vegas Vacation to see how to handle this situation.

Like a visa check card? You can't have one of those until you're 18. And you can't deposit with a MAC or STAR card or anything. So whose did you use?

Advice from a law student taking a break from finals:

1.) yes, your money is in jeopardy. you violated the terms of service by signing up when you were under 18. While it is dirty that they don't check until you accumulate significant earnings, that doesn't help your cause i'm afraid.

2.) the fake ID idea is awful. Don't do something illegal to get out of something illegal.

3.) while the "little kid" comment was harsh, I think I understand the point. Those of us who are 18 and over are concerned to some extent about the gray area online poker occupies in the states. a couple weeks ago, a 60 minutes segment talked about online gambling, and their big moment was when they tried to have an under 18 sign up for a site. The public tolerates people who've reached the age of majority gaming online, but frown upon minors doing the same. Simply put: those of you who are under 18, don't get involved in something that you want to be around once you reach that age.
