A hand from the BB - does it suck or not.

5-10 Short Handed
Hero is BB
MP is 60% Vip,9% pfr, passive post flop, will call flop with Zilch always goes to far.

SB Villian is 40% Vip,20% Pfr and aggresive post flop, has been Raising a wide variety of hands, will Continue bet any flop 3 handed. My only read thus far on him is that he has always CR flush draw v me.

My questions are should I have folded preflop geting 5-1,

secondly calling the flop bet, I was giving myself about six outs,but should I have raised with my admittedly weak hand especially considering MP is likely to call 2 cold,

Picking up the gutshot on the turn has now given some additional outs so I am correct to continue then?

i also think it's a good idea. we have a piece of the board and you said he's raising light. we likely have the best hand, however we are very vulnerable to overcards. raising and getting SB out is great, too.

raise and bet until you are reraised. if you are 3-bet on the flop it is probably best to peel the turn and fold UI.

Thank you for the replies, I kinda felt I shoulda raised the flop, in the actual hand I spiked a 5 on the river and made the villian unhappy.
