Default Which level is better for clearing the Party bonus: .5/1 or 1/2?

I hear the rake structure has some anomalies, so hopefully this question is not as dumb as it seems?

Excluding the bonus, how much more favorable is the rake structure for 1/2 than .5/1?

And finally, if yuo get rakeback, can you still get bonuses?

I think 1/2 6-max is the fastest. 70% of pots are raked and you can get 350 HPH.

The rake is taken at both limits when the pot hits $5 so many more pots will be raked at 1/2 than at .50/1. Actually, 1/2 is usually better than 2/4 for clearing bonuses because when you go to 2/4 they don't rake until $20.

Check this link out for rake by the limit: http://www.partypoker.com/games/rake.html

it makes no sense to drop down limits. Just play at your regular limit (providing time isn't a huge factor).

At .5/1, approx 55-65% of your hands will be raked. At 1/2 (full) this number is more like 70-80%.

Yes, you can get bonus and rakeback, but your bonus comes off your mgr.

Really? I feel bonuses clear much faster at 3/6 that 2/4. Though I have never cleared a bonus at 1/2 6 max, but it seems that at 3/6 almost 70-80% of the pots are raked. But that is just a gestimate.

in terms of required BB's to be raked on party, it isn't THAT much of a difference between 3/6 (3.33BB) and 1/2 (2.5BB). unless your table is abnormally tight and passive, the raked hand percentage should be relatively close since the average final pot size is usually 6-7BB's.

why play 6 max? the full ring offers 4 more chances per orbit to get a raked hand. The greatest moment in bonus whoring is folding a hand for free and letting the other plaeyers create a raked hand for you. Why limit your chances to for free raked hands?
