He has benefitted more from the poker boom than almost anyone else. If he takes some of that money he has made from his increased book sales and plays with me in high-stakes games, I will gladly rate him.

This prompted Greg Raymer to write me an e-mail saying he may try out some side games so he can get rated.

[/ QUOTE ]

I hope he has a more persuasive reason than that.

Barry,

hope you are considering the option of releasing you book in electronic format on Amazon, as suggested in another post. Can't wait to read it. I am curious to read what you think are the psychological/emotional traits one need possess to become a succesful pro and/or play in the highest stakes games - I believe it is one of the topics you address.

Hello Barry,

I'm sure David Sklansky can find an easier and more lucrative game than your "Biggest Game in Town", which includes the eight best players in the world. He writes all about game selection skills in his book, Sklanksy on Poker.

In other news, I added Sammy Farha to my player list.

Great story.

I think Barry was being facetious, and I'm sure Barry is familiar with Sklansky's work and table selection.

I don't think my ideas about game selection are much different than David's. If I wasn't a consistent winner in the big game, I would move down to a lower level.
