Is there anything funnier than a guy sitting down at one of the Party Single-Table WSOP Ladies qualifiers? There's a guy at one of the $11+1s now (I'm sweating a friend) - he claims that he is playing because women aren't any good at poker, and don't deserve to go to the WSOP.

If he's really a guy, thats a pretty sad waste of 12 bucks, but it got a couple of laughs from me.

One of the gals insisted that everyone stall, to no avail.

However, someone called PP Support, and a live FloorPerson showed up. I had no idea such a thing even existed (their chat was in red rather than blue). Looks like the guy is going to be kicked out or something.

Philosophically I'm opposed to the idea of a separate qualifier/event/anything for ladies. If they are equals (which I think they are) they should compete equally.

Especially in poker.. considering it's a mental sport. Why do women need a seperate event.

they also have seperate women's events in chess.
