Default 68% think America headed in wrong direction

Wow. Americans absolutely hate Bush and his cronies. Half the country thinks he is not honest and ethical. Only 29% of the country believes that Cheney is honest and ethical. This has to be the most spectacular implosion of a presidency and a political party ever.

I can't wait until 2006 when all of America gets to throw the Republican party out on its ass. It's going to be a beautiful thing (unlike Bush and his dorky pants):

In the wake of the bombings in Jordan by suspected followers of Iraq’s Al Qaeda chief Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, the indictment of top White House aide I. Lewis (Scooter) Libby and the withdrawal of Harriet Miers’s nomination to the Supreme Court, President George W. Bush is sinking deeper and deeper into political trouble, according to the latest NEWSWEEK poll. Only 36 percent of Americans approve of the job he is doing as president, and an astounding 68 percent of Americans are dissatisfied with the direction of the country—the highest in Bush’s presidency. But that’s not the worst of it for the 43rd president of the United States, a leader who rode comfortably to reelection just a year ago. Half of all Americans now believe he’s not “honest and ethical.”

Rest of story

Bye, bye Bush. We got to know you way to well.

As stupid as your thread is, I think that it's going to take a lot more than low approval for the Republicans to be taken out of office. However, it is pretty embarassing that Bush has lower approval ratings now than Nixon did during Watergate.

Did you see the part where 53% of Americans plan to vote for a Democrat in the next election while only 36% plan to vote Republican? The Repulcian party is toast!

This is exactly what is wrong with american politics. Someone can rise or fall independant of thier own merits, because of a guy like Bush. Just because bush and his admin are a bunch of fuckers doesn't mean you- and all voters- shouldn't look at each candidate seperately.
