Default $600 NL. Hand from last night.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB :#A500AF(villain)/ (6 max, 5 handed) converter

Villain is very LAG (over 50%vpip, over 20% pfr, af around 5. I only had 50 hands or so on him at the time though. No other reads, but I'm raising a lot and picking up the pots on the flop. Last time I raised preflop (couple of hands ago), I was check raised on the flop (not by villain), and I folded.

Button is a tad loose preflop and weak tight postflop.

SB ($386.55)
BB (villain) ($832.56)
UTG ($423.6)
Hero ($724.95)
Button ($377.21)

Preflop: Hero is MP with 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $3.
1 fold, Hero raises to $20, 2 folds, BB :#A500AF(villain)/ calls $14.

Flop: ($43) 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
villain bets $45, Hero raises to $100, villain calls $55.

Turn: ($243) A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
villain checks, Hero checks.

River: ($243) T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
villain bets $200, Hero calls $200.

Final Pot: $643

What I would advice myself to do is either fold on the flop or raise more. I'm setting myself up to get the pot taken away every time I'm unimproved on the river here.

No tells except that he is a LAG and that he has seen me lay down hands after I've showed aggression.

Reasoning for the call: I figured I very aggressive villain will bet into me on the turn with a low flush, a set, AK and probably any two-pair. (He isn't good though, so that might be giving him too much credit.) He really shouldn't let me check behind with the Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] here.

On the river that leaves the nut flush and KT to beat me. Both are hands that should feel really uncomfortable calling preflop raises out of position.

That's the reasoning anyway. Might very well be flawed.

I'm not sure how I feel about the flop raise, again if I have an aggressive image I like a call here and then try and take it away on the turn, but that might be wrong for 6max. I like the river call cause you can snap off a bluff here...given villain's info...

He's lag, he doesn't care, don't think about this, you feel uncomfortable calling preflop raises oot, it probably doesn't even dawn on him.

Looks like your FPS is catching up to you.

Didn't like any of it.

Villain shows KJo (jack of spades) and my hand is good. I still think I played it bad though.

After he called your flop raise and the spade/Ace hit on the turn, I'm done with the hand. I can't think of very many hands you're beating at this point. River is a fold. If he's got something like K,Q or K,J you'll have your chips back a few hands later, guaranteed.
