Worst day of the week for poker?

Anyone care to comment on your worst day of the week?

I can’t seem to win on Sunday. It’s always been my worst day, including live play in Vegas.

I just took a look at my PokerTracker stats (Session Notes –> More Detail) and, yep, not only is Sunday my worst day (not a lot of time since I don’t very often play on Sundays), but I’m actually losing 4.95 BB/100 ... scary.

I wonder why ... and if anyone else ... especially between 8 and 10 PM. ??

BTW, Tuesday is my second worst, but still a winning day.

Strangely enough Sunday is also my worst day (I'm down 1.51 BB/100)...however 8-10pm on sundays is strong for me (+4.48/100)...it's just the rest of the day that sucks.

This was very interesting. I also checked Poker Tracker. My worst day is Thursday which is one of my days off thus is one of the days I play the most. I am going to loo into this further and maybe consider taking a day off. Of course this could be caused by a couple of my worst sessions being on that day or could be that I play too many hours.

Thanks for asking this might be a very profitable breakthrough in my game.

I don't think this thread will get too many replies because most of us posters on 2+2 never have losing days.

My Tuesday/Wednesday stats are -1.26/-2.01 respectively. Oddly enough, my Thursday stats are +5.71/100 hands.

Of course, I only I have 30k hands in PTracker so assuming a normal distribution, only 4k+ hands/day. Small sample size, yadda, yadda, yadda take it for what it's worth.

sunday is my best day - +8.81 BB's per hundred hands

give me 12.00am to 1.59am friday all week - +27.27BB's per 100 (are you guys all pissed around 10am thursday ?)

wednesday sucks - -.71BB's per 100

Sunday is my worst day too, with Tuesday coming in a close second.

Typically Mondays suck for me. Friday and Saturday are usually the best with Sunday still being profitable - however my Sunday Session ends earlier than the rest (shorter).

Lunchtime and 8PM-4AM are both profitable. 2-6PM EST are the least, by far, during the week. I assume this is because I am primarily playing against addicts/fulltimers during that time period (except for lunchers on the west coast), as opposed to the sweet spot for lunch and in the evenings (time zones between east and west coasts keeps the sweet spot in the evenings open well into the EST AM hours...).

The lesson is probably to play mostly when a typical casual fish might play.
