checking the turn causes heart disease. Protect your health and bet the turn.

yeah b/f. If MP raises this turn you are drawing dead. If SB c/r's turn you are drawing dead-very slim. The fact that we can fold to a raise here makes a bet that much easier.

Flop raise was to gain info and hopefully fold out MP1. When he called 2 I figured I was WA/WB him and/or the SB.

If lag was bluffing or on a missed draw, wouldn't you collect more bets here by allowing him to bet into you with a weaker ace? Plus SB seemed to be sticking around too (Called preflop and flop raises). HU with Villain I most likely would have bet out.

Most hands that beat you would reraise the flop.

MP1 called your two bets on the flop, but he didn't reraise. I think he likes his hand, is afraid he's lost, but can't let it go--something like KQs or KK. Bet out on the turn to try to get him to fold.

He could have something even worse if UTG is loose, the rest of the table is weaktight, and he was trying for an isolation raise preflop.

SB probably has Ax. I think AK would reraise you and might reraise proflop, and AQ would definitely reraise the flop.
