Under the new circumstances I would probably push any two. This would be about as borderline as it gets though in terms of hoping to have any FE.

edit: as a sidenote I would probably push any two here as long as BB has more than 600 chips after posting. After that I think any two will call seing as the BB will be getting about 2.5:1 on his money.

agreed. i'm folding a bunch if i'm BB - pushing into you next hand given the chance. you just have to hope the other two don't have ANYTHING that can see a weak 'minraise'.

in this particular situation I would actually be more concerned about the big stack calling from the SB than the shorter stack calling from the BB. Does anyone else agree with that?

it definately crossed my mind, but he was smart, and calling would be foolish unless he had a hand.

You are a fool if you don't think he will call any 2 getting 1440:440 (more then 3:1). It is + 1.2% for him to call with 32o if you are pushing randomly! Folding (him) in this spot is beyond bad. Terrible.

I read the first post and wondered why this had 30-odd replies, then skimmed down and saw the correction

FWIW I still think you fold. He may fold exactly 32o, 42o and whatever other hands add up to < 9, but that's not really a big positive for you. Everything else pretty much still has to call, certainly any Broadway, so I don't see that it makes enough difference.

PS: the chip counts as given do add up to 8K so he may have 920 *before* posting, in which case this thread sucks.

yeah, i closed the table and i have played ~35 sngs under that sn today, so i didnt feel like going through them all to find it. what i remembered was that he had 940 after posting, i had 820 utg, and the other two stacks were relatively big. as such, i made the other two stacks up based on approximations that add up to 8000.
