he has obviously been pointing to this years ME since his exit last year. great run by the "mouth".

Was it 2001 or 2002 that Matusow made the final table? I think it was 2002, in which case he's made very deep runs in 3 of the last 4.

Sarcasm detector. Or was I truly advising someone to PM a correction to Greg. You be the judge. Be warned: it could get tough.

raymer's out, oh well...

lemme be the first to say:

if this guy wins, i'll seriously consider killing myself:

andrew black

ps this is also the guy that was crying

[/ QUOTE ]

I'd love to know what he did to annoy you so much, seeing as you've been flaming him for a few days now. Perhaps if you had as much success in the WSOP as him, maybe you'd be worth listening to. Andy finished 14th in '97, and has had 10th and 28th spots so far in the SH NL events this year. He's the only player left excluding Mathesow and Ivey to go so far in the ME... quite an achievement no matter what happens next. So how close are you to matching this?

Actually, there's two Irish guys left in the ME. The last time that happened at this stage was '99 when Furlong won and Parkinson was 3rd. A good omen for the Irish?

Regarding Raymer, he has a lot of respect on this side of the pond as well, so hard luck on going out. But what a performance in two years!

Title: Featured Table Update
Log:
Hand 39 - Joseph Hachem has the button in seat 7, Kanter raises, Connor reraises from the big blind, and they are both quickly all in. Kanter shows pocket aces (Ah-Ad), while Connor has pocket jacks (Jh-Jc). The flop comes Kd-10d-4d, and Connor is down to a single out, as the jack of diamonds will make Kanter a flush. The turn card is the 3h, and Connor needs to catch the jack of spades to stay alive. The river card is the 2d, and Kanter makes a flush to eliminate Joe Connor in 23rd place, earning $304,680.

There will be a short pause in the action as another player is moved to the final table to balance the number of players. With 22 players remaining, the average chip count is about $2,554,000.

-----

I wish I was moved to the final table with 22 players left
