Since you know the results, do you think I played the hand right? Should I have folded after he reraised my reraise? I played the hand this way because there aren't many hands that would beat that he would play that way preflop: AA,KK,QQ,JJ, and I think he would raise 88. So in my mind the only hands he could have to beat me would be J8 or 44. I could see him playing the hand the same with KJ, QJ, JT, or even T9; keeping in mind that this is a rebuy. So what do you all think, is my reasoning flawed, or did I play it right?

I thought about that, but I really don't like AJ enough to be raising it. After the flop I will be out of position for the rest of the hand.

It's a $5 rebuy. Gotta raise here. Isolate against one or two opponents and you're looking at being ahead going to the flop.

Ordinarily, in a non re-buy I'd probably check here also. But my goal in a re-buy is to get my chips in the middle as a favorite and reload if I lose.
