JJ actually refers to my name, but pocket jacks is a nice bonus that comes with it.

<<<I'm out. QQ loses to AK

EP with a ton of chips raises to 500. I have about 2700 and I push. is this automatic or should I call and see a flop? >>
This is EXACTLY how I went out of the million tourney yesterday afternoon. I made a post asking the same type of question, but really didnt get any replies. In my case, a King hit the flop, so if we both weren't all in pre-flop, I surely would have folded to any aggressive betting post flop. My concern would be, of course, that I would have folded post flop once the king hit REGARDLESS of what my opponent was holding. He had big slick, but just as easily could have had pocket jacks, AQ, or any number of other holdings. Once that King hit the board I would have been history, right?
Given that fact, I still feel good about my all in push.
Any other thoughts?
Les

with 700 left in my situation, after mulling it over for a little bit, folding/calling is horrible. all-in is the ONLY move to make. If you're close to the money or in the money, payout amounts probably should be taken into consideration and may make a different play preferable.

With ur low chip stack I think u have to push. What were the blinds at that point? U woulda been left w/2200 in chips. Woulda a steal attempt all in really scare all the players on the table?
