I get paid every other week. I grab the checks every month. I don't understand why someone would put themselves in the position to need their paycheck at the end of the week. I'm quite poor, but I'd be fine without a job for a couple months.

I'm salary + commission, doing outside sales. I get paid weekly, on Friday mornings, direct deposit. I get my monthly commissions on the 2nd Friday of the month, and I get a quarterly bonus every 3 months. Expense checks are direct deposit once a month as well.
My brother is a teacher at a high school and gets paid monthly.
