Default \"Official\" Live at the Bike thread (8/17)

Tonight's show starts another exciting week of Live at the Bike. Last Saturday, it was mentioned they were going to try to have a 60/120 limit holdem game, which means expect more 5/10 NL. The usual Bart/Shirley duo should be tonight's commentators. To watch the action, head over to www.thebike.com and click on Live at the Bike, or put http://216.53.204.10/bike/bike_300.asx into your Windows Media Player.

EDIT: Tonight's show will be 30-60 for the limit fans out there.

I quit watching it. There is a reason the WSOP is NL.

Just 2 hands in and I'm already slightly disagreeing with Bart. If you are playing A6, you flop an ace but the board pairs with an overcard to your kicker, why are you calling a turn raise only to fold the river when a blank hits? Did he call hoping for a six?

Okay Bart and TUSH-man.... Congratulations on your win Shirley...I don't mind you bagging on my card play, but don't ever, I mean ever, dis my man bag! I carry money, Ipod, battery back, 2 sets of glasses, credit cards, ID, sanitary hand wipes and your wife's cell phone number, so it's just the important crap. I got use to it at the WSOP, since the rooms were so far away, I needed to carry everything with me and frankly, my ass is big, but not big enough to hold everything! Speaking of sanitary wipes, I can't believe how many at the Bike think their genitalia is sterile. These guys that leave the bathroom and don't wash, yeck, maybe I'll start wearing latex!

Incidentally, need I remind you two that unlike us, the REAL playas, we don't know what everyone has, so it is easy to say what we should have done, when you already know the opponents cards! As an example, once you ridiculed my play for not value betting the end, yet on another you ask why did I bet, that the guy would only call if I was beat? Huh??? Then I was going for a bluff and bet pre-flop, the flop, the turn. I checked the river, since I knew I was not going to get the guy off his hand and I had squat. Boy, did I hear it on that one! Anyhow, I really enjoy talking to you guys and reading this crap, makes me a better player. LOL Here's hoping Jesus, Allen and Patrick show up again Friday!

Love you guys.

Barry - not Greenstein

Can I come in and rag omn Dave's play??? Huh, huh, please!!

I'm actually kind of glad to see a limit game for a change of pace.

Seriously, I like limit better. More action in each hand, moves quickly. Plus, I play limit, so I get more out of it from a learning perspective.

It's called the World Series of POKER, limit is part of poker. The world doesn't revolve around you boon.
