Given that the Beer Depot is so close, I don't see this being an issue with any real frequency. Heineken is near flavorless, frequently skunked, vastly overrated euro-piss. Pass.

You know, there was a time when I would have taken you to task for this statement. I could not understand the whole draft-beer-in-a-bottle thing, and it just didn't taste right/seem right/feel right.

Then I lived in Milwaukee for six months a couple of years back. After the initial shame of ordering a Jameson's and a Bass (jukebox screech to halt, glass breaks, conversations end, every head turns), I do like everyone else and order a MGD.

Not the worst thing in the world, to be honest.

One man's opinion. Unfortunately there is no review of Heineken yet. But I cry from laughing so hard everytime I read this page so I thought I'd pass it along.

In the UK, Heineken is held in very low regard. Seems like everyone I know drinks bottles of Bud and wouldn't drink Heineken unless there was nothing else left.

Me. I drink beer, or as we call it, bitter.

Lite Ice
Like all Ice beers tend to do, I have an overwhelming urge to rape an Eskimo. Fortunately for our good friend Kiko, who has just arrived, this is "Lite" ice. His sled-dog, Niknuk, however, is in for a long night.

Rating: Plausible.

In Milwaukee, when you sit down at a bar, they ask you what beer you want (assuming they can hear you over the perpetual Nascar on the television), and if you ask for a decent beer, they say "No, I meant do you want a Miller, a Miller Light, or a Genuine Draft?"

And then they look at you like you asked for a whore, some heroin, and an uzi.

I had a friend that ordered a Miller Lite in St. Louis at a local Budweiser union hangout right down the steet from the brewery. Pretty [censored] scary.

I think it's overrated and overpriced, though still decent. My favorite beer besides the local micros wherever I am is Yuengling B & T. Also Sam Adams Summer Ale is up there.

Since everyone's gone off talking about their favourite beers, I thought I might as well add my $0.02.

Hands down the best I've ever tasted.
