I think USC this year has had a pretty large drop. The defense just wasn't what it was last year and the year before, though Reggie Bush and Matt Leinart have improved (and the addition of LenDale White doesn't hurt).

Texas has gone berserk ever since the OSU game. They haven't won by less than 20 points. I think Texas wins this game, though it's close.

It's funny how after the Texas game Vince Young might have had pipe dreams about winning the Heisman. Then Reggie suited up.

Reggie Bush is great. I'll give him the trophy too, but VY is an excellent choice as well.

But let's not get too excited about the 294 and 500+ from Saturday night. He was playing Fresno State!

Also, if USC and Texas hang on, Texas will win by 3+ TDs. If USC loses, we'll have a ball game between Texas and PSU.

A worse Texas team got beat up by a WSU team that wasn't nearly as good as this USC team.

From observations:

This year's Texas team is obviously better than that team but not by the margin by which USC is better than that WSU team, which is A LOT.

If whoever USC plays keeps it within single digits, I'll be impressed.

Plus- Mac Brown still coaches Texas right?

COMPLETELY DIFFERENT TEAM SMART GUY.

Mack's put in a Coach of the Year type performance, now that he's pulled that stick out of his ass. I'm rather worried about Texas's linebacker play, which has been abysmal, and just won't cut it against SC's screens, much less Bush moving in space. Our secondary & D-line match up very well, however. I would describe SC's front seven as... porous? If Texas puts together a good offensive game plan and pounds it out on the ground, I can see Texas in a 34-24 type affair. I doubt USC gets embarrassed in this game under any circumstances, though Texas very well might.

513 all purpose yards in one game? just give him the [censored] trophy now. and this is coming from someone who thought leinart was the conservative lock a month ago.

All purpose yards are so skewed. He had a great day rushing, but for some reason the media feels the need to inflate his stats by going with the all purpose yards. None of his returns was even remotely impressive, but when you have 7 kickoff returns, you are going to seriously inflate your all purpose yards. Yards from scrimmage should be the number that people are talking about.

Is there any odds on a sportsbook site to say Reggie Bush is on EA NCAA 2007 video game cover?
