Default Mega Beat

Happened to my buddy while I was helping him finish the stars 500.

1st - 192k
2nd - 101k

6 left, he loses a 600k pot w/ 77-J7. 5 left, he lose 1.1 million chips w/ KK against Q5d for the chip lead.

Flop J-10-4. Ouch.

Clearly the anguish over this beat has left J_V unable to make a post that makes any damn sense.

If this was yesterday- 2p2er Vanveen lost with AJ vs 66 on a JJxx6 board.

[censored] Riverstars.

I ran some numbers on this one:

H: 40 (a-7n) 35%-60% : equity: 50% (n-1_)
V: 50 (a-7n) 10%-20% : equity: ~30% (n-1_)
M: 30-10 (a-7n) 0%-5% : equity: ~.5% (n-1_)

H(V) / M = n3 so we are at ~50% for +EV but look at this:

HR1 = M(V) - H...so 4/5 of M never would have raised!
