8. SB...A8 off...calls 10...BB checks...Flop K 10 10 rainbow...everyone checks..turn: 6 diamonds (2 Diamonds now)...all check...river A of clubs...I check...late position bets 40, I call, he shows A 6, I win 100 chips.
9. QJ off...on button...2 limpers in front... I fold (Bad decision)? Flop: 10 4 5.
10. 69 clubs...raise in front...I fold.
11. 25 clubs...fold
12. AK off...raise to 100 in front of me. I call... Flop: 8h 4 h 7 Diamonds...Raiser bets 60, I call. Turn: Q...Raiser bets 60, I raise him 140 to see where he's at...he calls. River is a 10 of clubs..He bets 280, I fold.
Sitting at 1150 chips.
13. 56 diamonds...I limp...flop 4 K 6..3 people check...turn: 9 clubs...everyone checks...river 6...I bet 80 and everyone folds.
14. 63 off..I fold.
15. 25 off...I fold.
16. posts BB of 30...dealt 10 2off...2 limpers plus SB...flop Q 8 2...all check...river is a 9...there is a bet from SB of 90, I fold...button re-raises him 200.
17. posts SB of 15. 63 off...raise in front of me I fold.
18. j8 off on button..raise to 120 in front of me... I fold.
19. 69 off...fold
20. 27 off...fold
21. A8...all in of 200 in front of me, I decide to fold. Villain has A 5, gets called by the BB with K 10 offsuit. Flop ended up being 10 A 10. I was ahead of both but folded.Could have gotten into trouble on the flop.
22. q7 clubs...I fold, all in of 570 behind me
23. posts BB of 30...A 2 off...raise of 90 in front of me, I fold.
24. 89 hearts in SB...villain, on the button, who has been active raises to 60 to 90... I call. 2 others call...
flop: 8 5 3 rainbow. I check, 2 others check, Villain bets 120. I call. Turn: 2...I push all in, villain calls with QQ, has me covered...river: 2 diamonds.

I'm gone. Too loose on the call with the 89. I read him for two high cards since he liked to raise and bet. Also with myself just dwindling on chips is that an awful call preflop. You could see i'm kind of card dead. Anything I can do to mix up my game?

I have a better tournament history where I had some more playable hands, but this is the first one I've typed up.

I guess re-raising helps me out because he will be playing passively on the flop, even moreso than betting 60. What do you make of that bet? It seems awful small. Would villain call 140 more with just two high cards? You don't think that gets it done?

How dumb is my 89 hearts play there against a villain who has bene raising a ton of hands somewhat small?

i think it looks fine to me, he could easily have 2 overcards like u said and will have to fold
edit- u raised him 140 more, o, i thought u made it 140 total or 80 more. i think that thats fine but still could bump it a little more. i might be tempted to bump his flop bet too then shutdown on turn and river

raise the flop to 250. if you're raising the turn, make it a lot more than that...there's about 450 in the pot and its 80 back to him, he's not folding anything

how many limped in front? were you in position on the flop? come in for a raise. bet the flop.

if you're deep, nothing wrong w/ calling here. you have to defend sometimes, and if the raise comes from LP you might want to see a flop.

meh...if you want to get your $ in, check/raise on the turn. depends on what the stacks are here tho...
