*OFFICIAL* NFL Suicide Pool Thread

This idea got a pretty decent response, so consider this the official kickoff. The pool's official website is here . Original interest thread is here .

Official Rules

1. You pick one team per NFL week. The NFL week is Thursday - Monday.

2. Once you pick a team, you may not pick that team again. For example, if you pick Green Bay one week, you cannot pick Green Bay again for the remainder of the season.

3. If the team you picked wins, you advance to the next week. If your pick loses or ties, you are out of the pool. There are no point spreads involved.

4. You must PM or email me your pick (nflsuicidepool@gmail.com) by 12:00 noon Pacific time each Thursday. If you miss this deadline, you are out of the pool. No exceptions or excuses. I will do my best to remind participants, but you are advised to create a reminder for yourself.

5. I will post everyone's picks on Fridays, and the results will be posted on Tuesdays. This is the official website.

6. The last player remaining takes the entire pool. If the pool makes it to the end of the season or all remaining players lose in the same week, the pool will be split amongst the last remaining players.

7. There will be no deals allowed between remaining players to end the season early and share the money.

8. The entry fee is $10 per player. You can have multiple entries. For example, if you want to have four picks, you can do so. Each entry is separate and the same rules apply to each.

9. Entry fees can be paid via Poker Stars or Party Poker. My screen name on both is PhatBeetz (Jason Chan). PM or email (nflsuicidepool@gmail.com) me if you need to transfer funds in some other manner. Payment must be made by Wednesday, September 7 for inclusion in the pool.

10. There is no vig/admin fee. Winner takes all.

Other Notes

The pool will run if there are a minimum of 20 entries. I am going to play between 3 and 5. If there are less, I may still run it if there is interest from the paid entries.

This pool is open to non-forum players as well. If you have friends or family who'd like to play, they are welcome if they can live with the above rules.

Since there will be non-forum participants, I am going to offer a t-shirt (this design or a close approximation) to the forum participant that lasts the longest.
