but to what kind of music? i was actually watching some old flick with gene kelly, and was thinking of taking classical dance (Christopher Walken in the Fat boy slim vid). If its just club music, if it doesnt come naturally, just stand by the bar.

Go out to clubs and eat a bunch of ecstasy and drink a bunch. You won't care what you look like and it will come semi-naturally. Do this a few times and then you'll be able to do it sober.

As an attractive girl you know to teach you. This will be excelent because a) you'll actually learn something as opposed to the semi-witty and mostly unhelpful knowledge you'll get here and b) you might get laid as a result.

dance alone in your room. this is how I taught myself to dance. yes, you feel incredibly ridiculous doing this. after a little bit you get used to it. I also learned to stay very light on my feet because I was always scared that the people downstairs would know what I was doing.

also, visualize yourself dancing when you're listening to music. I'm serious, this works. it just has to be music you like.
