Default push any 2 here?

i'm still having trouble finding "push any 2" spots when i'm not a monster stack. is this one? my thinking was that with the relatively short BB, he's going to need a pretty strong hand to call, and i need the chips.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t200 (4 handed) converter

BB (t1585)
UTG (t2430)
Hero (t1110)
SB (t2875)

Preflop: Hero is Button with 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
1 fold, hero?

I like pushing here, if the SB is not a loose caller.

yea, you've probably got enough FE against both stacks to make it a profitable move, and you do need the chips, although this is the kind of hand that's been knocking me out on the bubble way too much lately when i get called by A4 or some garbage.

I like folding here. I'd rather even take the blinds one more time than push with 6 high in this spot.

Depends on the SB read. BB will fold almost every time. SB's call is going to be very tempting based on odds and the tendancy for people to push in this position on the button. If I'm SB, I call that push with many hands given my stack. I'm not particularly worried about getting bubbled even if I lose, and this is my chance to really build a huge lead and go for the W.

Also depends on how you've been playing. If you've played tight it makes a push more reasonable.

5 big blinds is low but I think I want a better hand to push with...not much mind you but better than this one.

me too.
I'd push it like I never pushed before if I were in the SB and it was folded to me though

ok, i should have specified this in my original post, but suppose the blinds are going to go up on me. then do you think a push is good?

after paying 150+300 i'd be down to T660 on my next button. other shorty would be at T1235 and in the BB.

Yes, this makes a huge difference. In the scenario you describe, this sounds like it is pretty much your last chance for folding equity. Good push.

Yah it is +EV to push here versus sane opponents.
