Specifically who do you expect to bet when you check the flop and why?

well the guys to my left were quite loose aggressive and they called a raise so i expected someone to bet either overcards or a flush draw or maybe a medium pair like TT

I'd lead out. You raised pre-flop and can't know that anyone will bet if you check. With the 2 flush there you can expect some callers and maybe a chance to 3-bet.

Do we always 3-bet the river here without reads?

A couple LAGs behind us who (combined) can almost always be counted on to bet when checked to might be an argument for checking, but we have to be damn sure it's not going to be checked through with any regularity -- we hate giving a free card and will usually be unable to make up missed flop bets.

The reason I asked for specifics is that it's going to be better to bet out yourself the vast majority of the time. The exceptions are not a result of "one of the people left to act will surely have something worth betting" type stuff. We need to know exactly who's likely to bet how often and why.

You're rarely making a mistake when you bet. You have to be much more careful when you check. Plan to bet without a convincing argument to the contrary.

I like the rest of the hand.

Flop: I never c/r this.
The pot is already large, no need to get fancy.
What if this was checked through?

River: Most of the time I'm calling this river raise.
You are out of position and it's likely to get capped.

Reads sure would help. I know I can't fold to a cap without reads, and CO waking up here sure smells like QcTc. No overcalls to get and I'm not getting a fold, so if I 3-bet it's a value bet that I hope he has some two pair that he can call with.

I know its weak tight but I think I don't 3-bet here without reads.
