Default missed value?

BB is 53/20/2.4 here. SB is 76/22/0.85. I used to have a really good handle on value betting the crap out of my opponents. Did I wuss out here?

Absolute Poker 5/10 Hold'em (4 handed)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
Hero raises, Button calls, SB calls, BB calls.

Flop: (8 SB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (4 players)
SB checks, BB bets, Hero raises, Button folds, SB calls, BB calls.

Turn: (7 BB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets, SB calls, BB calls.

River: (10 BB) A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks, BB checks, Hero checks.

Final Pot: 10 BB

I like all streets...
betting the river here depends on how confident you feel on folding to a raise

If there is a continuum of easy hands to fold to a river c/r to hard this has gotta be towards the easy end.

The range of likely holdings that have us beat definately broadend on the river and this combined with the possibility of being behind all the way makes it close but i think its a bet.

such a tough hand. i hate these situations where you are up against 2 players with stats that would lead you to believe they are capable of making checkraise bluff attempts. however, i dont think these guys are calling down with ace high, so unless they have a pair with an ace kicker or a better jack your hand should be good. however, i doubt there is a better jack out there, especially AJ because you would have seen more aggression from them. id bet it and call a checkraise and hate myself later.

Yeah, I probably should have bet and called. There's only two players, the flush that hit was backdoored, and if the 50/30 guy had had a better jack, he probably would have played it more aggressively on the turn.

Also, somebody who makes aces up on the river is probably going to donk, since the A is a likely scarecard for my hand.

The more I think about this check, the more I hate it.
