I think you may be right. But, Garner seems a lot nicer than J-Lo (we are soooooo cool for calling her that instead of Jennifer Lopez). And Affleck has probably popped some of the hottest girls in the world, so he finally decided to settle down with a cute girl who might be nice and have a kid and make a life with them (by life I mean 3 years, but that is a long time for Hollywood). Plus, Affleck has political aspirations. And I think he has a lot of confidence in this, because he said when he is elected he now knows with Arnold being elected to public office, that he will not be the worst actor to ever hold office. Matt Damon will probably be his Lt. Governor and all will be well. Pardon me for the rant. I just get excited knowing someone from School Ties will possibly make it as a politician. I mean, how often does that happen? Maybe once or twice in our lifetime? Just thinking about it makes it tough for me to sleep. I have written Ben about his political commercial: "I am not really an anti-semite, I just played one in a movie. The Encino Man knows he wasn't really my enemy and so should the rest of you Boston Jews". Then it will show a montage of Affleck in all of his great roles, Dazed and Confused, School Ties, Good Will Hunting, Chasing Amy, Armageddon, Reindeer Games, etc... and at the end, he will be shaking hands with the Boston Red Sox. There is no way he doesn't win. He could also start every speech with, "I promise I will be a better candidate than Gigli was a movie."
