I don't think you'll have much luck with that move. One of the first rules that a stud player learns is not to lay down on the river for one more bet because the pot is big. I'm pretty sure Andy's going to pay this off if his opponent checkraises.

Andy, am I right?

Maybe it's because I am primarily a Hold'em player and I suck at stud, but this sure looks like an easy value bet to me. (Note to self: Experiment with c/r bluffing rivers against good value betting players if I ever take up stud.)

Learning to value bet the river is one of the last skills people pick up before they progress to being a good player. It takes a while.

Yes, I am a certified pay station.

Just looked at your profile. Didn't know you had a last name.

Yeah, that's it. Actually, I've never been to North Dakota. Went through South Dakota on a train in 1979. It was really brown.

Folks in Minnesota spend a lot of time making fun of Wisconsin, Iowa, and the Dakotas, but really, you go outside of the Twin Cities metro area in any given direction and it's mostly corn and soybeans.

Fargo sucks, no doubt about it. The schools sure are cheap though. I'm from Zagreb, Yugoslavia orginally family moved around alot (Egypt, UAE, IL, FL, CA, MI, ND, etc.). I'm not the average 4th gen Norweigan.

All I have to say is I'm thankful for broadband and internet poker. I think North Dakota is the part of the world God forgot to finish. When your driving down the highway everything looks exactly the same the entire way.
I seriously think this is the place people come to die.

Hey, do people really speak with that accent like in the movie Fargo?

What kind of accent is that anyway?

No they don't, at all. It's a super-super exaggerated Norweigan accent.
