Default $2-$4 in vegas

Need a place where I can get on the same table with a friend who is very new to the game, but not some dump like the Plaza.

Edit - It will be a Tuesday afternoon if that matters.

Edit Edit - oh and smoking is a plus.

Balys has 2/4 games, the game there is easy, but at that level, you might as well find a home game...

Monte Carlo and MGM Grand (I think) should have 2-4 as well.

Good luck on that one.

Aladdin occasionally has 2/4, but the 3/6 that runs regularly plays just like your standard 2/4 game. Also $30 min buy in is all you'll need. Most weekdays have 2 or 3 tables and weekends get up 4 usually.

I disagree. While the casino will let you buy in for that you shouldn't hop into a game w/o $100. You should really have at least another 100 behind. If you can't afford that, hit the excal 1-3 with it's $1 big blind.

The reason I said that 30 is all he'll need is because he said he had a friend that is very new to the game. Thus, he probably doesn't want to spend very much money. But yes, I agree. I buy in for 25bb's no matter the limit.

I can afford that, I'm bringing $2500 but my female friend I'm meeting is out there for a homebuilders convention and doesn't have much money to gamble...$50 or so....but I could loan her $50 or whatever I guess.

Go downtown baby. The Golden Nugget and Binions have great 2/4 games any day of the week. I stayed at Binions last Decemeber and primarely played at those two rooms. The Nugget has some good tournies and a no cap buy in 1/2 NL game which was fantabulus.

I made seven hundred playing 2/4 limit and 1/2 NL at the Nugget for the week I was there. Had a good run at the Nugget sports book too... go Zags.

If you stay up all night and play don't go to Binions in the morning to play more. The games there are full of senior rocks.

Take it down friend.
