My question is what about better pairs...I think I have a decent chance to fold a non-heart hand..

[/ QUOTE ]

Pair of Queens will always call as will the Ace, especially since his kicer is probably a heart or he has 2 pair. Only a better nine would fold. I don't think it's worth it.

hand 1 is the ol' clarkey on the river. I did this a lot tonight and people still looked me up with Qx no hearts. Bless 'em.

No, its actually almost a pure bluff. Just about any pf raising hand is ahead of hero now, as is any heart. Clarkmeister needs a hand strong enough to call a bet with, and 4th or 5th pair is just not it. I c/f this.

EDIT: old news, I see, that's what I get for not recognizing climber's name earlier. And change "Just about any" to "A whole bunch of."

Hi Climber-

I think you should checkraise the flop in hand one. If the river wasn't an ace I would be bet/folding, but as is I think you need to check/fold. Everything else is fine though, and hand 2 is well played.
