Default Why I can\'t win at 6-max...

PP $50NL 5-handed

I'm SB with T [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] T [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] and 51.60 $behind.

Preflop: UTG limps, UTG+1 folds, button limps, I raise to $2, BB folds, UTG calls, Button calls

Flop ($6.75): 4 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
I bet $6, UTG calls, Button folds

Turn($18.75): 7 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
I bet $10, UTG raises to $20

Sans read, this is a fold. To me, the biggest difference between full ring and 6-max is the absolute necessity to have some sort of read on your opponents if you want to maintain a high winrate. Full ring, you can toss this. At Party 6-max, there are opponents who will bluff at scary boards and semi-bluff their draws, and there are also rockish, weak-tight nut peddlers that only pull this min-raise with the nuts or close to it. You have to figure out which one this guy is.

Raise to $3 PF. Don't even bother betting this turn.
