Can you explain your defintiion of "pretty good authority"

Good enough to count him as a 3, or good enough to maybe count him as a three but maybe not count him as anything?

If you were to vote between 1 and 3 which one would it be? I think other people are correct in saying that 4 shouldn't be an option because some people don't want thier money going to charity and it should be a decision made by the person who won AFTER they win.


Since 4's can't win anyway I figured you might want to chose an option between 1 and 3.

So the 3's win over the 1's in a 13-8 decision with three people not voting.

I guess the next step is, who has the money?

EDIT: Let me just add my own comments. I am really upset how this thing turned out, especially because it started off great. Playing the matches and really improving my heads up game for this competition was absolutely great.

Since my planned trip has turned into a two part thing I would have time to play the playoff matches, and if the vote was close I was seriously considering changing back to say lets do it. It is a shame that so many hours were spent on this and it ends in, basically, a five way tie

I really wish someone, including myself, had stepped up at the beginning and questioned the format of the end/playoff structure.

I think if this was done properly with a very strict moderator it could go very smoothly. If there is enough interest to do this again, the right way, I'd be very interested in giving it another shot.

Even more important than that is a well-defined and well-thought-out ruleset, and some method for avoiding people just giving up. One thought I have is distributing part (half?) of the prize pool based on regular season total W/L record.

I contacted Climber and he's going to send 500 each to the five captains, and then the captains can split it up among their team.

I'm assuming this is ok with everyone? He won't be able to do it for a few days, but it should be done by the end of the week.
