Hand viewed from the sidelines: Did I analyze this right? 100/200

I am scoping out a lot of different game structures to switch to (I am a SNG player) and I often watch the Stars 100/200 game, I find it fascinating.

Was my analysis of the following hand correct? For the life of me I could not get the converter to work, I am sorry.

I don't understand preflop strategy at limit strong enough to analyze that, so let's skip that. On the flop somewhrntime check raises. He then checks the turn... representing that he was trying to buy a free card on the flop, right? Then in order to "defend the freecard" the other player bets out but somewhrntime then raises! Obviously somewhrntime leads on the river and shows down the nuts. Was this a play to fake buying the freecard by somewhrntime in order to extract an extra bet? Or did I get this entirely wrong?

first off. i think that A6ss guy played the turn badly.

think about it. in order to have a hand strong enough to bet AND call a c'r AND call a river bet (ex ante) he very likely has a hand strong enough to raise a turn bet.

the flop c'r from the OPEN RAISE and CALL pf signifies a pair w/ flush draw; draw w/ As; pure bluff; set; and many other types of hands. the preflop 3 bettor can simply be setting a6ss up for a turn raise making him pay the most if a safe card comes off. when a safe card DOES come off, A6ss should BET AGAIN in order to be raised. NOT C'R!!

a c'r on the turn given the action will slow down top set!

it will also slow down hands that would have paid 3 bets on teh turn and 1 on the river assuming no spade comes. it also allows a set to draw for 2 bets what he would have paid 3 for (the boat) and has plenty of equity.

clearly the pf 3 bettor could have had a hand he'd fold on the turn or bet and fold to the c'r in which case checking is the only way to get a bet out of him.

but at 100/200 taking this line assures you no real action when you have a strong hand and lots of action when you have a weak one IF you consistently play the way A6ss did.

this might have been a change up. but overall i think checkraising the turn is a money costing play.

Just curious, but does anyone know who Ramabird is in real life? He plays pretty good.
