I don't think you should bet the river against two bad players who played the flop and turn passively.
I say check the river and give button a chance to bluff with a worse hand. Since it's pretty clear the river didn't help the BB and he would be more inclined to call a bet from the button with a very weak hand letting you pick up two BB if button bets out with a weaker hand and BB calls with a "bluff catching" hand. oh and if somehow the idiots did have a 8 it's saving you a bet since I don't think you can fold to a raise on the river here if you bet out, with 10-1 on your call (if you had bet out). edit: Probably a very good chance button will put you on a high Ace high and BB on a missed draw and go for a steal so a check is very good play here I think especially with no reads. |
