Yup, you can't exactly spend t1200 to raise with 2nd pair when shorty is sitting there with t625 can you? I think this is a spot where you just have to the big stack push you around a little.

I agree, reluctantly fold. Short stack is going to be put all in next hand. Middle (very small) pair is not a hand you want to bust out in 4th with.

At least that's what I'd do in the 10s. I could be wrong.

What do you do next hand in SB with T700? I understand what is being said about button, but this looks to setup the situation where you have T700 UTG and he is essentially all in blind. You're essentially putting your life in him randomly losing or you randomly winning the following hand, correct?

I think it's worse than that. I will almost certainly have to fold the next two hands, so I have to rely on the other 2 stacks to take out the small stack.

The next hand: I have 700 chips after posting. The button folds. I have zero folding equity. I fold.

The hand after that. The button has 35 chips after posting. The bet comes to me before it comes to the button. If I go all-in and am called by the big stack between us (as I should be), he can fold into third place. So again I will have to fold.

Folding or pushing both seem reasonnable.

Calling is not an option because your holding is too shaky, and U can't stay in this hand without involving your entire stack, now it s basically a risk reward problem.

Winning this pot to a fold puts you in a very good position for the money, and if you get called and double up you now have much more 1st position equity. On the other hand folding means more struggling ahead.

Pushing is therefore a nice option given the SB has definitly shown a lot of strength. The downside of Pushing is that you are always called and if you are likely to be ahead, there are lots of outs against you.

Depending on my mood (lol) I'll probably push, the blinds are too big to just try and get ITM.
