Re: WINDOWS Programmers!!!!!!!!! question
If it's visible on the screen then it is accessible to any other program either via "screen scraping" or by other means.

Re: WINDOWS Programmers!!!!!!!!! question
Bots are not the problem here. There is nothing wrong with a bot. The problem is, that this person designed this bot with a feature that helps people to collude.

Re: WINDOWS Programmers!!!!!!!!! question
Colluding has existed since the first internet poker room has opened.
Team Speak AOL Instant Messenger MSN Messenger Yahoo Messenger Cell Phones All have been around longer than poker rooms have. The colluding aspect of this program is nothing new. It simply uses the other players cards for making it's decision on your hand. Two-nine players could also do this with any of the above mentioned communication tools. |

Re: WINDOWS Programmers!!!!!!!!! question
Yes they could. However, the telephone, AIM, etc. were not explicitely designed to allow collusion. This program was. (or at least part of it.)

Re: WINDOWS Programmers!!!!!!!!! question
Unfortunately not. Windows is such an insecure operating system, that any program on the desktop could manipulate any other program's input, and capture its output.

Exactly, so what is the BFD that this does it over the Internet ?
To sum up, the bot cannot really play winning poker and the "share cards" function is less secure, less private and less effective than calling your cheater buddies on the phone.
Sorry, Chicken Little, but the sky is not falling ..... yet. If you are really worried, play on a site which is incompatible with this bot/system. |

Why wouldn\'t this Collusion Central sell out the cheaters ?
I really like the feature where you have to "confess" to a central server that you are cheating, and with whom .... This is hilarious .... Why wouldn't a site, such as Party for example buy out that server info for a right price and BUST all the cheaters, keeping their money.... What makes anyone think these winHoldem guys would not sell out their subscribers, and do so in a way that it would not get back to them.
Or better yet, someone who has been allegedly cheated simply sues these yingyangs and obtains that information in discovery, while naming these onshore idiots as co-defendants ........ hmmmmm, that is an interesting idea .... never mind, forget I said anything. Ted Geisel, (Plaintiff ???) |

I am quite impressed that he thinks it can beat my pattern maps, as his bot can not only predict the turn and river, but apparently the flop as well

Re: Why wouldn\'t this Collusion Central sell out the cheaters ?
Hmmm....This bot is so good, that they are giving it away. If I owned/programmed a bot that played "perfect" poker, I would let it play 24/7, and just keep making withdrawals from the bots winnings. But this bot is sooooo good, they are willing to give it away at first, and sell it (to a bunch of suckers) later.
If it were any good, they wouldn't have to sell it at all. They would have already made a fortune on their/its on-line winnings. |
