Default 15/30 - JJ vs Tom McEvoy

This was a FR game, but I like you hushers better, so I am asking you guys..

loose/bad 15/30 game, i am in CO mcevoy is in BB, chuck thompson is in MP, everybody else is a donk

4 limpers, i raise JJ on button, mcevoy calls from SB, BB folds, 6 ways to flop..

Flop (6 players): K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (13 SB)

checked to me, I bet, McEvoy CRs, folded to me, I call

Turn: (2 players): 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (8.5 BB)

McEvoy bets, I call

River: (2 players): 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (10.5 BB)

check, check

How did I do?

I talked to mcevoy about this hand later, and will post the summary of our conversation once the discussion gets going.

I don't get his river check... unless he had K6s. I would raise the turn and fold to a 3-bet.

I like. If the 8 didn't hit I would bet the river.

I think I like a turn raise, fold to 3 bet, take free showdown best. Im just assuming that since hes a big name he is capable of folding some [censored] K, and if he has an 8 and calls the turn riase hoping to hit, he isnt calling the river.

I also prefer this line.

What was your plan for his river bet?

i think youre forced to proceed to the river because mcevoy could still be holding an 8 or even possibly a 6. i really dont understand mcevoys river check, the only hand that would be correct for him to do it with is a 6 unless he thinks he can sexy you but this isnt a good board for that.
