Default Was I suppose to value bet?

This is my first post on 2+2, so I hope it's a good one. I've been lurking the past month or so and the advice given here has been proven to be the best by far for microlimits. Thanks guys and SSH. Feel free to give general comments about the hand and how I played it anywhere.

MP2, CO, and SB are fish. BB is solid.
Party Poker 0.5/1 Hold'em (10 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is UTG+1 with K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. MP1 posts a blind of $0.5.
1 fold, Hero raises, 2 folds, MP2 calls, 1 fold, CO calls, 1 fold, SB calls, BB calls.

UTG with KQo raises on Party .5/1 at a loosy goosy table, right?

Flop: (11 SB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (5 players)
SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets, MP2 calls, CO calls, SB calls, BB calls.

Sweet. Top pair good kicker but two flush on the board. Autobet.
Turn: (8 BB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (5 players)
SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets, MP2 calls, CO calls, SB calls, BB folds.

This card didn't help anyone so autobet.

River: (12 BB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (4 players)
SB checks, Hero checks, MP2 checks, CO checks.

Why were they calling down? On a draw of some sorts? Checked in case of a flush (SB had check raised rivers before) or someone had a 6.

Final Pot: 12 BB

I play it the same way for what it's worth.

Welcome to the forum.

You definately missed a value bet. Why do you think you are behind? Nobody has shown any aggression whatsoever. There are quite a few hands that will give you an extra bet here such as Qx, JT, or AJ.

Solid. You can't really bet the river because you're out of position and you don't want to be raised. Definitely check and call a bet. The other streets are automatic.

yo llamaoo,

with that many people in, it's easy to get scared of the flush, but since you happen to be against three bad players who will call with any piece of the board (including worse Q's, a J, or a 9), you should value bet. and since they're passive, you can fold if one of them raises if you'd like.

I'd bet this river pretty much every time, the amount your bet will win in the times your top pair is good will more then make up for the amount you'll lose when someone hit their flush. IMO

On a loose table, wouldn't this be an easy value bet? We have no reason to believe anybody holds a 6 and those players will call to the river with much weaker draws than the flushdraw. And they will pay of with a lot of hands.
