Best PBP: I really like Jon Miller for baseball. Albert and Calabro for Basketball, and Keith Jackson for football (full disclosure: my grandfather gave Keith Jackson his first job at WSU and I'm honor bound to answer this question this way).

Worst PBP: Joe Buck bugs me for his stupid moralizing. Berman on PBP annoys me just as much as Berman in studio, which I will address later.

Best Color: I actually really like Tom Tolbert and the Snapper/Walton booth. Jim Walden, who does color for Washington State Football is amazingly fun to listen to if you enjoy a homer who screams at the refs (which I do, he cares as much as I do and it's great). Dan Fouts cracks me up.

Worst Color: Morgan, a guy who is too dense to realize what made him good. Doug Collins. McCarver (I basically avoided the world series because of him).

Best Studio: Fowler is very good at what he does. As is Ernie Johnson and the rest of the TNT crew. I really enjoy Tolbert in the studio as well.

Worst Studio: I have no time for Bob Costas and his misinformed loved for all things old. Chris Berman hasn't updated anything about his schtick in 15 years and I've just grown amazingly tired of him. He's also way to into moralizing and other nonsense.

I do wish I could have heard him 20 years ago, though.

I think his call of the Game 6 in the 1986 World Series is the best I've ever heard: "Here's a little roller behind the bag, it gets through Buckner. Here comes Knight and the Mets win it."

Brent Musberger is the worst IMO. Ive never once heard him call a game without clearly rooting for one team. If you watch him do any Texas game you will see that he apparently has an inappropriate sexual relationship with Vince Young.

Best Play by Play: Sean McDonough
Worst Play by Play: Mike Patrick

Best Color: Bill Raftery
Worst Color: Randy Cross

Best Studio Analyst: Charles Barkley
Worst Studio Analyst: Mark May

Best Studio Host: Chris Fowler
Worst Studio Host: James Brown

I could write a term paper on all the guys that suck and why they suck.
I will just say that the Monday Night college hoops crew of McDonough/Raftery/Bilas kicks ass - they're objective, insightful, pretty funny, and not afraid to rip officials.
I like how Fowler isn't afraid to call out Vitale/Corso when they overhype certain players/teams.

best color man is hubie brown!!!! he provides excellent insight, especially compared to all the other brain dead color guys on tv for the nba right now.

[/ QUOTE ]

I like Hubie a lot. I also enjoy ripping of the Sports Guy's schtick of talking like him in real life.

How horrible is the Joe Buck, Troy Aikman team? I watched the entire Eagles game Sunday (yes I do watch games with rabid Eagles fans, fortunatly I have two other TVs) and I had NO IDEA Owens was injured. I knew he would be a cancer to Fantasy Clubhouse.
