Default Slowplaying my KK

Prima 3/6-6max. Generally tight table. BB is a tough TAG regular at these games.

I get K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] on the button. Folded to me and I raise. TAG on the SB 3-bets. BB folds. I ... call

Flop: 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 7SB
He bets - I call

Turn: 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 4.5BB
bets/raise/3-bets/ I cap

River: J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 12.5 BB
He checks, I bet

Would you play different and how?

I almost always cap preflop, since I cap preflop with a whole crapload of hands worse than KK.

By capping preflop. My range is so wide when I am three bet by the small blind when I am on the button that he can't narrow my range by much.

I cap preflop. Raise the flop. Then go from there depending on his action. Why cap the turn?

Yes I was thinking the same - raise the flop. It is very possible that my flop raise will be 3-bet as well here a lot of times. I guess at that moment when I was playing, I liked the flop too much.

Excellent link. Thx.

I'm ahead a lot more than 50%+20% (his 8+2 outs) of times here and have 2 outs as well, right?

Yes, I think there's value in the turn cap.

I think it's fine given your PF call. I don't have a problem with mixing it up on occasion.

I'd say you have 4 pretty often.
