don't raise with your marginal hand but just let him keep coming

I keep forgetting that you don't need to protect your hand if villian will bet the river UI.

Given that, I like a flop call to see what button does and once he's out then a simple call down expecting to be bet into on the river UI.

Based on that hand (and I'm assuming you had others like it before the original hand) I probably just call down against this guy. Though it still sucks that he donked the turn after the river raise. I'd probably just call down from the flop if he's prone to bluff, though raising to drive out button is good.

As it played out the turn raise is neutral becuase he didn't fire again on the river. If you ha c/c all the way down h'd probably keep firing worse hands (no K)and you win/lose 2BB either way.

By C/C the whole way, you let him keep bluffing and lose the least when actually behind.

I still like raising the flop to get the button out.

I am wondering against this opp whethere c/c is better than raise turn check river.

If he keeps betting I guess I am not getting a free showdown, and this opponent seems to be betting frequently even after aggression has been shown, even with nothing.

I guess from the other hand it makes it more apparent that c/c is better than raising the turn.

Could you guys give me some more advantages of raising for free showdown over c/c ?

Thanks,
True
